Sarangani island

Sarangani Island – A Virtually Untouched Tourist Paradise in General Santos

Sarangani Province, whose capital is Alabel, is at the southernmost tip of Mindanao Island, bordering South Cotabato to the north and Davao del Sur to the east. With a 230 km (140 mi) stretch of unspoiled coastline along the Sarangani Bay and Celebes Sea, the province is linked by paved roads to the international airport and harbor of General Santos City.
An independent province since 1992, Sarangani Island, General Santos is protected by the resource rich Sarangani Bay. Beyond this is the Celebes Sea, which is the province’s gateway to the rest of the world.
